Mentor of the Millennium

 

The Alberta Women's Science Network is proud to
MARK THE MILLENNIUM WITH A MENTOR.

This novel initiative is planned to expand on the current Mentor of the Month program and recognize those women, from the past and present who, over the past 100 years have made a difference in our lives. To become a Millennium Mentor, the nominated individual must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Someone who has made a significant contribution to science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • Someone who has made this contribution in Alberta. (Does not have to be currently living in Alberta, or alive)
  • Someone who has made an impact, or has been an inspiration in your life.

All submissions will be reviewed by the Mentor committee at AWSN. If selected, Mentors will be highlighted on the AWSN Web site later in the year.
